Live from New York!
New York is the spot right now as Esther and I enjoy a four day layover on our way to England.
We had a wonderful time
getting around originally, but once we got settled here in East Hampton, we've had a chance to drive around
with my cousin's car and see the Montauk Point lighthouse and the town itself... reminiscing about memories and many visits over the years and wishing Chris could be here too.My aunt has a beautiful home out here, and I've had a lot of fun taking pictures as you can well imagine. Lighthouses, waves, beaches, people, deer, horses, dogs, butterflies, bees, food, streets, cars, subways, planes, plains, harbors, marshes, sunsets, trees, and even trees and sunsets. -->
Plus talking to my Aunt Betsey and George was great... even getting the low-down on what it was like growing up with my dad. =)
Tomorrow, we head back to the city and meet up with another aunt of mine in Manhattan and take the chance to see whatever sites we can fit in until we leave on Tuesday.
It's good to be with wonderful people, and we've found New Yorkers to be extremely kind, good drivers, and fun to visit. With great views!

You know you're deep in Blue America when you see an Au Bon Pain. Can you imagine a cafe with a French name and the word "pain" in its title surviving anywhere outside the coasts or Chicago?
fun times!
You should look up a girl I went to HS with named Megan. She lives out there now, not too far from Times Square. If you get bored, text me, I'll tell ya where she is
i love that part of the island! it's gorgeous. i went to suny @ stony brook for a year (exchange program). actually, i met the Lord there. anyway, long island anywhere is fabulous. have fun.
I'm not used to seeing my hair that color yet, so I keep thinking that you're hugging some other girl in that picture. It was wonderful getting to know Aunt Betsey, she's a great lady and George is hilarious and so kind. I enjoyed our time. =)
really cute picture!
First of all, thanks.
BUT, my dearest Cracker is nothing less than a perfect angel! Also, I am quite jealous of all your traveling.
you know, having spent some serious time in picasa, i think you used "warmify" on that top picture.
but i could be wrong.
i love picasa anyway.
and you two are adorable.
to you both.
