  • Have you ever...

    • Avoided putting your whole foot on a grate or manhole when walking on a sidewalk in case it ever fell through?

    • Typed an address or number in the "Address" bar on an internet window while on the phone with nowhere else to write?

  • 1) yeah, I think I have...

    2) very for sure

  • Yes, and no (but what a great idea!)

  • i do both those all the time... sometimes i write a phone number in an IM window or pretty much anywhere i can type it so i don't have to search for paper and pen

  • Yes for the first. Never thought of the latter...that's a nifty idea...

  • Yes and totally yes

  • I've done both lots of times

  • rycorgs ~ you didn't lose points, honey....sad as it may be, I never really expected you to come And whatever you lost, you gained back by coming over AND putting up with Matt for a few minutes.  I'm just glad you had a good time in Chicago.

    ::hugs::

    so THERE.

  • yes to the first one, no to the second....... and the "guy" that puked on me was 5 months old

  • No and yes.

I normally have Notepad opened and type stuff in there, but if worse comes to worse, the address box will suffice ^_~

And I don't think it's the stupid pills, I think it is something in the water.

  • #1 absolutely.

#2 not so much...i always tell them to call me back and leave it on my machine. which i am sure is quite irritating, however i figure if i fell through the manhole then they wouldn't be talking to me nor would i be in need of taking down a number, so since i take precautions with #1 they can put up with leaving me the number.

thats my story and i am sticking to it...

  • Yes to both.  Regarding the first one though, I only do that because of a bad experience when I was younger.  My bike wheel got stuck in one of those things in the parking lot of my parents' condo back when we first moved to Milwaukee, I had to be 4 or 5 years old.  I fell off the bike and got tangled in the wheel spokes and pedals (I was super-tiny back then, not too much bigger than my younger brother who was 2-ish).  I had to wait until someone found me (or ran me over).

  • no, and no, but a good post nonetheless....

  • Yes, and No.
