  • Halt the presses! Halt the presses! We've got an update!

We have an upcoming birthday for the newlywed, newly relocated, newly employed, Matt Groth. =) In the meantime, my treehugger friend Adam is celebrating with his alter-ego hamburger eater. heehee - or was that supposed to be secret?

No need to halt the poem! Here's a glimpse at the next three days for facebook birthdays for me. Normally this isn't very interesting, but there are some notable quotables in here. =)

For me, it's difficult which of these three, err...four, men has done more for our country. Adam, The Incredibly Large Man Eating a Hamburger, George Washington, or Ron Burgundy. Gentlemen, I salute you on this most august occasion.

  • Wait a minute, august isn't for like six more months or something...

ryc ~ I KNEW I had forgotten something.  Meh

  • har har har

    1. Inspiring awe or admiration; majestic: the august presence of the monarch. See Synonyms at grand.
    2. Venerable for reasons of age or high rank.

1: of or befitting a lord; "heir to a lordly fortune"; "of august lineage" [syn: grand, lordly] 2: profoundly honored; "revered holy men" [syn: revered, venerable] n : the month following July and preceding September [syn: August, Aug]

Be careful correcting an urban forester on his use of the English language!

  • Nick, I am so embarrassed for you, asking such a question.
Incredibly Large Man eating a hamburger is BY FAR the greatest credit to our country. He's taking on challenges far bigger than those others had the coconuts to try! Not just in burger size, but in arteries exploding and the like.

  • Wow, thanks!!!

  • just through a friend of a friend, or somewhere...haven't really dwelled on it.

Atomfilms is tricky sometimes...atomfilms.com, then search for the title...which is Music for One Apartment and Six Drummers.

  • If you're this bored, oh Xanga surfer (you're just everywhere today...) perhaps you could be sleeping hee hee hee

  • I'm going with Ron Burgundy... he taught us many things - not the least of which was the jazz flute, the definition of "diversity", the lost translation of "San Diego", and brought back the ancient, but incredibly useful phrase "By the beard of Zeus". Stay classy Ron Burgundy.

  • ryc on tree25: I invite you to Fry's - you put me on thin ice. Psshh... all of a sudden I'm feeling like complaining about American consumerism while in the store. ;)

  • ry523comments ~ it took that many just to give Esther proper credit? Wow...lucky girl...
