Headed off on the smallest plane I’ve ever been on to get back on Invercargill since our ferry for tonight was canceled due to the weather. Unusually bad weather for them, but what can you do. We miss you Lehnert!! It was a crazy windy night last night with amazingly strong winds, but we’ve survived and stayed dry, even with a pile of hail outside our tent. =)So this is the furthest south I’ve ever been, in the Subantartic. Yet I’ve never been to the Deep South of the US, except to get to Florida as a kid. What’s the furthest south you’ve ever been?

the furthest south i’ve been is el salvador, so central america
Uhm, this is sad – but West Palm Beach, Florida.
Kristina says she has your earrings.
Adam, Ben, and Brian don’t want to talk to you. So there.
Personally, I think you should have come to SALT. Hoser. One of Pastor Len’s kids ate our party food for tonight
We’re still gonna par-tay regardless.
BTW, remind me to lend a CD from SALT. Holy buckets the guy today was awesome!
uh… Florida Keys. That’s not very far south.
However, the furthest north I’ve been is Skagway, Alaska.
The furthest south I’ve been is the Bahamas. Furthest west is Las Vegas. Furthest east is Germany. Furthest north is probably Canada. Unless any of the places I’ve been to in England are further north…. I don’t have a world map or a globe on hand to check latitudes. Sorry.
Get back safe!
I was born in Guam, which is 800 miles north of the equator. That’s the furthest south I’ve ever been. I’ve been moving steadily north ever since–in the last ten years, from Oklahoma to Chicago to Madison. Of course, with the weather this winter, you’d never know it.
still pretty envious!
just came upon your site .. what an incredible journey it seems you are on!!
Plover, Wisconsin.
lucky you….Thanks for sharing your fabulous adventures….I want to go to New Zealand even more…
This is the furthest south I’ve ever been too, same as you. What a coincidence…=P
Hawaii. Boy, do we all miss you. I know that you’ve been away even longer when you studied in Germany and Poland and even away at Point, but the family got used to seeing a lot more of you in the past18 months. We pray every morning for you and then again at most of our meals together. I’m sure that you are busy packing up to leave on Wednesday… We even bought chocolate milk in anticipation of your return ! God Bless you, Nick.
Nick, get back soon. I need a cyborg to harass.
Life is not the same without cyborgs to do things for us.
In 24 hours I get to see you =) I can’t wait!
