  • Thoughtathat: so September ended and no one woke me up
kwhitson525: well, to be fair, you'd have to go to SLEEP for anyone to WAKE YOU UP

Joe the peacemaker. Beth the sweetheart. Joe the suspicious. Joe the I
could entertain you all day in an Old Navy store. Joe the can't I buy
everything I want in this store. Happily taken by me.

Meet Frank! I met him at UW-Stevens Point at an Involvement Fair while
I was setting up a tree climbing booth and he was setting up a Model UN
booth (Maryann, this is how I know about it!). Somehow, Frank applied
for Exec Director while I was President, and Renee the VP and I knew he
would be perfect. Now, he's in my HR class as a former employee of
mine...the irony! Taken by my outstretched right arm.

I had to post a picture of my mom! How could I not...but she's often
taking the pictures. Chicago's downtown from the Sears Tower. Perry and
his girlfriend, Katie, with the kiddies. Christina lounging in their
hotel's rooftop pool! Taken by other excellent people.

Some randomness (as Melina would say): I had no idea there was so much
ice in that cup... Just trying to maximize the stud-factor in this
entry. Matt from school/Chi Alpha (follow his link for additional U2 pics he uploaded). One of my favorite pictures of all
time! Chris was sliding across the wood floor in his socks. Proof that
I am wasting away. Seriously, I keep losing weight and this cold is not
helping. Plus the green tea I'm drinking? Does wonders for weight loss!
Not what I'm looking for being below the normal weight curve! Taken by me, me, me, and mom.

We had our company picnic two weeks ago. (Can you tell how far behind I
am with posting pictures???) Very diverse as you can imagine being a
landscape company! The tree crew beat the landscape crew in volleyball,
but the Mexicans kept womping on the Gringos... Victoria and Zoe are
clashing! The joys of being homeschooled! Gotta get all the siblings
covered here - Beth and Chris. Taken by mom - she would die without a camera. It's

This is from the wedding today. My cousin Peter and Andrea are now
married! The service went very well, and I had a good low-pressure
introduction into being an usher. Not the Usher...
but the tuxedos were fabulous! I felt like a million dollars...maybe it
had to do with my dancing partner. On the right, my 17 year-old
cousin Walter (who's almost 6'4") is playing the bagpipes he bought on
eBay two months ago. He was pretty good! Taken by mom.

Perry, Perry and Perry. (Jessica, I'm
just doing this to bother you.) I prefer no-flash for more natural
colors... But to round out the family, my aunt Ann who flew in from
California and my granddad who's moving out here in a month. Taken by me and mom.

    Which, by
the way, is a great cause for a road trip! I'm driving his moving truck from New York to
Milwaukee at the end of October. Stop recommendations? World's largest
    prairie dog
    maybe? Oh wait...not in Pennsylvania...

  • New York to Milwaukee?  Why not the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland!

  • You were right, I gave many delighted squeals at this post Thanks for upping the stud factor, I think we all know which one was my favorite picture...I loved them all but there's not room for me to share every smartaleck comment I came up with

HEY! If you're stopping in Pennsylvania, drop in to see mandelei for me!!

  • Yay for pictures!

There has to be the world's largest something or other between New York and Wisconsin.  Hmmm.

  • You should see my friend Jen in Buffalo. I'm sure she'd be happy to do something crazy with ya for a night...like...hungry hungry hippos.

  • The pictures of Joe and Beth (on the top row) were taken at Applebees, right?  The trademark carousel horse...

The so-much-ice picture was taken in the "new" kitchen, right?  ...You never did post "before" pictures...

Two real eprops (not default eprops) for a picture post.  Especially nice to "meet" your mom.

  • Yup, my first HTML version of this post had that info...it was lost in translation. Yeah yeah yeah, you never forget! I dunno where the "before" pics are...or I'd easily post them. When I find them...
