  • Chris, though he doesn't read this site, took this picture.

    Two very different links.

A slideshow of Hurricane Katrina pictures from New Orleans that was e-mailed to me. 3.5mb

A website that my group created tonight in class. A bunch of bologna.

These flies keep buzzing around, and I now have a pile of 5,
make that 6, dead ones. There's a certain satisfaction in taking out a
    fly with a solid clap.

  • My cousin called me last night from Houston, he was evacuated with everyone.  I got a first-hand account of all the bizarre goings on with that evacuation.  Even the backroads were backed up pretty badly.  He said that they were stuck off the freeway for 5 hours!  YIKES!

Flies...icky.  I'm used to them being Asian lady beetles though, so at least it's not piles of those.  Kira has fun chasing the flies though...through the window.  It's very cute to watch.  Anyway...I keep seeing you at UWM...are you stalking me again?  This time there's no big red truck with your name on the side to give you away...

You know it's all good C-dawg!  LOL.

  • I have a little glass container (4 inches by 1 1/2 inches I'd say) full of dead flies.

The fun part is...the flies were killed by my dad over 12 years ago.

I don't even open the jar anymore. It's that bad.

Have a great night everyone! :)

  • Thanks...thank you for that. If this is what I get for giving you a ride for 3 blocks after walking you in the wrong direction, I'm...I'm ....whoa, I'm sorry for making you walk in the wrong direction!

  • My dad does that fly-smack thing too.. I think it's something of a machismo boost..... or maybe I just wanted an excuse to type the word "machismo" heeheehee :o )

    ryc: thanks buddy!

  • ......I don't need an excuse.... MACHISMO! MACHISMO! MACHISMO!

hahahahahaha!.......I should probably go to bed now :o

  • Love that floral shot.  Also like the choice in cropping it.

  • Hahaha, oh that's okay. You can just compliment the photographer, and it's okay with me too. Photography is both composition and presentation.

  • Hey, nice currently listening.  I'm only commenting on this because as I was driving to work this morning with my windows down, I heard the tune of that song wafting on the breeze ~ I shook my head to clear it, thinking the song was just in my head since I had just listened to it before leaving the house.  Lo and behold, the song was NOT in my head, it was blasting out of some truck ahead of me.  Looks like U2 is taking over the world...
