  • Jeff Deyo

    An
excellent concert. A great show. Above all, beautiful worship. Jeff is
an old dude (over 23, at least), but he's got a heart for God and a
heart for worship. His band was talented! The guys were just owning the
music the whole time, even though the composition of the group changes
    frequently.

The concert-in-a-tent was fine, but I was sick of the white spotlight that ruined every picture... Get this! It was a Missouri synod Lutheran
church that hosted it! There were people raising their hands! Luya! I
had no idea they allowed that - they certainly have a huge lead on the
    ELCA folks.

Had a lot of fun up there, too - playing catch with a kid who found Matt. Chilling with the two lovebirds. Oh, Lars! I know you read this, do you recognize Adam through XA?

And below I've got Matt's sheepish look when we caught him backstage, scoping out the pro audio equipment.

Cause you just met the world's most handsome man.

[Are you on the inside of this joke?]
[Edit: you are if you know Robbie Williams.]

  • You are clearly soliciting a comment here from this ELCAer...yesssssss we get our praise on, of course we raise our hands....though I'm surprised that LCMS people would!! I am a little (ok, a lot) jealous that you got to see Jeff Deyo, and of course hang out with Matt for an entire evening.  When are you bringing him over??  And thanks for the pictures to hold us over

  • Not on the inside of the joke, but certainly jealous that I missed out on the concert (almost wrote convert there...hehe).  But I did get to see one of my high school buddies that I haven't seen in 4 years, so that's why I couldn't go.  Looks like a good time!

  • yes. oh, and thanks a lot for your help on my banner.. i was getting really frustrated, and it was nice to see that it actually could work. amazing.

  • Looks like you guys had a great time, I'm sorry that we were not there.

  • *drools over matt groth*
