  • The Summerfest run-down with the best moments:

    Death Cab for Cutie
    - being the oldest person at the concert (besides the journalist doing the review for the newspaper)

    Kenny Wayne Shepherd
    - watching the man tear up the guitar with one hand

    The Donnas
    - realizing they a chick band then rocking out solidly

    AlterBridge
    - being asked by a 16-year-old girl (so she said) to buy her beer...mmm...beer...no

    Whitesnake
    - being the youngest person at the concert

    Isaac Hayes
    - being the most cracker-ish person at the concert plus his warbling monologue on how to treat a lady

  • I'm a little disappointed that this entry isn't what you said it would be

  • What - about cute girls? Oh...you know...I was going to close my eyes for a second while I was talking to you last night and woke up in my chair at 4am.

  • At least you didn't sleep in the truck

  • I didn't get to go to Summerfest...no one wanted to go with me...sad.

  • No! Not sad! I went by myself after taking a cue from someone's strategy and had a great time. The second day, my friend had free tickets, so we had a great night out for $5.

  • You missed the best set...no one rocked harder than the Pixies.

  • Awww...and I missed it all?!  I had tickets too, mom works for Miller and got a whole bunch of tix from her boss!  Oh well, there's always next year...

  • you too are a picture fiend.  that's why i subscribed to your site, i think i got it from rose, she's one of my friends from the u of a.  sounds like summerfest rocked, which is a good thing.

  • oh.. and yah... i did get your message

  • Was it the sound of settling? Death Cab almost killed me, actually. I owe it all to the person who introduced me.
