A wild bluebell
Now some random thoughts:
I found some McIrony in this. You can sort of see me in the window....the poor family inside thought I was photographing them!
Every time I start to think that our company is getting big, I stop to
think about other companies.... Take this Kohl's distribution center as
an example... Consider that Verizon made $1.76 billion in proft in the
first three months of this year. From people paying $40 a month. Yeah,
we're in the minor leagues!Which isn't say that I don't have nice toys at work!
So I've got 3 work trucks. The International has 40,000 miles, this
F-550 has (had in the picture) 8,999.9 miles, and the Dakota has about
2,000 miles on it. Yeah! I love trucks! This picture does not do the scene justice. It's all getting torn up to
re-route the driveway! This is from what we call "the inner sanctum" of
River Hills. Basically, that means you pay millions for the lot and
have a driveway that exceeds a half mile (with a guard house!). The
former owner passed away and has a lot of things in her and her
family's name. Uihlein Park. The Petit National Ice Center. The Bradley Foundation. The Bradley Collection at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Allen-Bradley. Our Chevy Suburban. That's my younger brother for ya. Guess who gets to work with him?
Well, that's part of the problem. A semi-trashed employee of mine was a
more than a little forthcoming tonight on the phone when he told me how
much he wants to work with me and how unhappy he would be anywhere
else. Chris wants to work with me and no one else, starting Monday. I
just hired someone today that I really want to work with. What gives? Btw, Rodney no-showed again for the last time.My co-worker is a dear person, but if he can't pass the pesticide
certification exam, he can't get a license and can't work with me.
Sorry! I wish it were easier. Chris might just spend too much time
flexing and leave me with the dirty work. But the guy I just hired
today is SO accomodating and a quick study with a strong work ethic. I
want him on my crew! And I think I will, because it is now my
department...Went out with Katie last night and saw this scene unfold. Public Safety
First person to guess this flower wins a prize.
The answer must be a comment on this entry.

I vote next time you make each picture a separate entry or something, so I can comment on each! This way, you're just going to get a paragraph...
Good flower photographing skillz, once again...I think you've shown me the McIrony picture before...I have no doubt that one day CTL will be bigger than that Kohl's distribution center
...yes, you do love your trucks and you love showing them off every time you come over ~ definitely one way you deal with your testosterone...nice landscaping job in River Hills, your work?? Or someone else's work that you're tearing up??...as we discussed, NICE picture of Chris
, and I'm sorry to hear that all your partner-options (Chris, the Contester, Rodney) are taking a backseat to your name twin (am I right in thinking that's who you want to work with?), but I look forward to hearing good stories about him too!...uhhhh let's see, I already talked to you about the public safety scene...and finally, I have NO FLIPPIN' IDEA what flower that is. Can I get a prize for the most clueless?
Look! Here I am! Sorry though, I couldn't figure out the flower. Maybe it would help if we knew what the prize is?
Yay, Rachel! You've got yourself a name...
A prize for the most clueless could be arranged, but I was thinking the winner would have a flower name for a guess.
Throw some out there! They grow here in Wisconsin and across the nation!
The landscape picture is a composite of companies, we've done a lot there lately, but originally, who knows....that's years and years ago.
I have the same flower posted on my site! Except its white and I don't know what its called, but its in my parents front yard!
Well, it would "behoove" everyone to check out your site because that picture gives a lot more clues!
Really?
Hey Nick, I saw one of your trucks today by my apartment building in Bayside while I was on my way to dance class (after work of course). The flower question really plagued me and I don't know why. Since I'm such a big nerd (and an ex-Biology major), I had to look up the flower. I think peonies photograph well too, but my guess is that the flower is Rhododendron azalea.
Or you could check the picture's filename.
I'm gonna have to figure out a prize for you, Melina...maybe I should have one in mind before I make up a contest. Nah!!!
Hey! I want props for our creative thinking!
Look at the file name, man I should have thought of that.
Too late for the flower ID contest (I would have had to look it up, too), but I have some random questions about other items... For one, your Chevy Suburban is listed among the things that are "in the name of" the deceased woman / her family. (Okay, so that's not technically a question, just an observation... but ???) And what happened with the cops?
Yup. We bought it from them several years ago. With the cops, the Public Safety car got pulled over by a real cop who was chewing him out with the "we've been having a lot of problems with you guys" line.
Should thoughtathat! Get it? My AIM name? Hahahaha...
awwww i remember this! man, i rocked the filename-checking. amanda's brother's idea, if i remember correctly...
