This is worth the bandwith.
My truck’s tulips are flowering! Yay! I’m so excited!
Rain days are all part of the job, I understand, but…I get paid $4/hour for this?Lester makes it worthwhile. Lester the Contester! The Protester! The Chester! The Jester! Poindexter!
I definitely am a sandwich and chocolate
milk man. I had to settle for regular 1% today, though – they were out
of 1% chocolate! Yikes! But I made up for it with 2 cheeseburgers, a
fish sandwich, and a club chicken sandwich, and yogurt. OK, off to
class.

Your flower pictures are always awesome!! What kind of digital camera do you have??
I was skeptical at first… but your truck tulips actually bloomed. That’s awesome. I wish I could give you more than 2 eProps…
The pictures in this are all from the Canon PowerShot A70 (3.2 mega pixels). You can find it for $200 on the Internet, but better models are in stores these days. Some of the pics earlier today were from the Canon G3 (4.0 mega pixels) but with a much better lens and better sensor.
I don’t know…it’s not so much the camera. It’s the lighting/composition/cropping that has a powerful effect. But, yes, I love photography! I remember my first 110mm camera…oh we’ve got a hilarious video clip from that. I’ll try to dig it up from one of our DVDs!
I’ll take $4 an hour to stand in the rain and get my picture taken.
Yay! for the tulips! I was a little surprised by the yellow. I don’t know what I was expecting. Red, probably. I dunno why, but…
And it’s NOT the camera. The camera is a tool, and a good photographer knows how to use it. Not everyone knows how to pick a subject, choose an angle… Anyone can swing a hammer, but in the hands of a master carpenter — you get the idea. Still, there are variables, and a good camera will give you better results, like good wood makes a better piece of furniture. (blah blah blah blah blah)
Hey, I feel like I’ve seen that tulip somewhere recently….I know it used to be in your truck, but it was gone when I looked the other day. Hmmmm, this is a mystery. Perhaps someone stole it? Now, where have I seen this tulip?? Wow, this is really bugging me. I feel like it was in a building somewhere….maybe near a window? In a vase? No, no, I’m thinking sort of a carafe bottle sort of thing. Seems to me there were lots of colored pencils and computers and scraps of paper around….ummmmmmmm…..hey, I’ve got it! Someone stole a tulip out of the back of your truck and put it in an architecture studio! When I catch those dirty rats…grrrrrrr…..
Haha, I am so funny today
Just teasinggggg….it’s cute. Pretty adorable, actually. You have a traveling flower shop in the back of your truck, how conveeeeeenient!
awwwwww tulip….anything else i have to say here would just be overkill. and you know me, i’m NEVER over the top.
i am, however, really really funny. which i was noticing from the last comment i left here.
dramatic, maybe just a little, but pretty funny, you have to admit.
gosh i’m glad i know you. lucky, lucky girl i am.
i’m thinking this site, with it’s various comments from years 1, 2, and 3, is turning into MY own diary. i kind of like that. i’m appropriating your site through slow and patient commenting.
