This Milwaukee gentleman had the bright idea of taking a limb off a
tree in his yard. He positioned the ladder in the tree and began
cutting. His belated realization that the cut he was making was
actually the very limb the ladder was leaning on was not soon enough to
keep him from cutting through the limb holding up the ladder. All the
while, a Journal Sentinel photographer was taking award-winning
photographs at a rate of 3 per second of his fall. Here's one of them.For everything thing else, there's MasterCard...

Is that picture for real? The chainsaw seems a bit small in comparison to leaves that are below it... and wouldn't the engine weigh it down so it would fall blade up? ??? Where was the photographer "standing?" There are a lot of other things that don't add up -- to me. Is it real? (or are you just being funny?)
Sometimes I lose just a little bit more faith in humanity.
Oh, the picture's for real. Imagine the saw rotating through the air and falling away from the perspective of the camera. I guess the photographer was in the right place at the right time and probably was predicting this would happen.
