  • Whoa, that is rather impressive.

  • very nice.
    very, very nice.

  • BEAUTIFUL! Makes me want a house one of these days...

  • Well come over and see it! And the adorable little children running around all the time giving piano and violin recitals to anyone who will listen.

Still no Kari comment! Where is she??

  • Careful, I'm going to take you up on that invitation sometime...

  • Considering it IS an invitation! I'm thinking of inviting a whole lot of people over at the same time - what do they call that? Par-tay or something?

I was thinking of that today! I'm a couple weeks away from being 5 years out of high school!

  • Forgot to mention - with all the lights, you need a small powerplant.

  • Wow.  Even better than being able to read protected posts, I think: being missed.

I have plenty of comments / questions.  *deep breath*  Whose kitchen?  Yours?  Or your handiwork, commissioned by someone else?  Whose little children with the violins and pianos?  I love green walls (these are just a tinge yellower than my old living room walls) - pretty, pretty, pretty.  Someone needs to frame some photographs on those walls, I think (black and white candid shots - my favorite), to make it cozy.  Recessed lighting, way cool.  Undercabinet lighting - I approve, I approve.  Flat walls? or is there a hint of texture?  I hope there are plenty of light switches, so you can control the lights a little at a time...  Finally, it's a "remodel," so how about some "before" pictures?  Then we can be extra impressed.

  • Before pictures are a good idea, I'll see what I can find. It's the house that I live at...I'm back at my parent's place after being gone for my undergrad. They're semi-kicking me out (offering my/my brother's room to grandparents), but it works great for now. Textured walls, yes - you can sort of see it on the last picture. Lots and lots of light switches...it took me ten minutes to set that up, and yes, all of them have dimmers except the halogens under the cabinets.

All custom designed cabinetry. The floor is new - I put the tongue and groove in and planed it on 1920s machinery last summer. I'll get the exterior in a picture too - the wall went out about 15' and so did the basement, which, by the way, is the coolest bedroom ever.

  • Heeeeeeey nice kitchen I've had some good conversations at your house, do you know that's the first time I ever talked to Esther??

SEE! In these comments you revealed plans to have a par-tay at the Crawford estate! Do it quick before Chris' wedding, while I'm still here.....
