I've seen this label a lot lately! As part of my Nick-is-going-to-be-healthy program, I'm drinking a half
gallon of milk a day (that'd be eight eight-ounce servings). It's a
superb source of protein, sugar (!), and a secret source of caffeine.
I've completely rejected soda for several months now and am doing far
better regulating my energy. It helps to have a more steady stream of energy when I'm trying to work
for 70 hours in a row! But I know things will only get worse as the
season gears up. Tree and landscape companies are about to face the
most intense part of the year, and we will soon have hundreds of
customers expecting us to be there yesterday.I'm up for the challenge! I just wish I didn't have a full-time class
load too..... So this is a heads-up as well that I won't be the most
prolific writer, but I should have plenty of crazy life experiences to
share!

I can't believe you actually drink milk, but half a gallon a day? I'll stick to my soy milk. I'm sorry, I just don't see how something can be considered nutritious when it makes so many people sick, including myself. I cannot drink the stuff and often question why humans even bother to drink it. I read somewhere how unnatural it is that humans are the only animals that continue reading milk after infancy and worst milk from an animal other than it's own mother. There are plenty of other ways to obtain calcium (& protein), like vegetables but no one eats those anymore. LOL. Why the heck did I just go into this lengthy rant about milk? Forgive me.... I've rejected soda too and I've noticed I don't miss it much at all. The sugar and crap in them are crazy, I'm learning to love flavored water. However, I still lack energy, maybe I should head back to the gym now that Spring has arrived. Can't wait to read about your crazy life experiences. Peace!
What kind of milk? Skim? Soy? Whole?
I don't read milk after infancy, well, just the side of the carton now that I can read.
Reduced or lowfat (2% or 1%, respectively) chocolate milk is the beverage of choice. POINT OF NOTE HERE: I live in the dairy state and drink milk as part of my support for the local economy and because it does a body good. No lactose intolerance here, but I have a slight allergy towards eggs, another farm product. Oh wait, they're all from some form of agriculture!
