Month: April 2005

  • I realize this is an abuse of bandwith, so I won’t keep this link active for long. NWS

Here I am driving one of my favorite trucks!

Edit: Six speed manual transmissions are nice. We’ve got vehicles with
3-10 speed transmissions, and I personally like the 6 and 7 speed ones.

  • You don’t know anyone else like me.
    Part II
(if you missed the first one, this is taking place in the back of my pickup)

The tulips are doing great! Some fresh mulch is on the way, and sod
will soon be in the back of the bed. I could do that today, actually…

    A
    close-up picture.
I zoomed in on the right and saw the tulip was
sending a message – in English! The genetics advancements in breeding
    these days are just amazing!

  • Lock yourself out of your car. Mmmmmm. $50 mistake!

  • Naperville was great. I’m feeling inspired about Chi Alpha, and there’s a lot more in the works!

  • I like trucks.

    Ford
finally figured out how to get a truck from Mexico to Milwaukee. It
only took them since SEPTEMBER to get it here yesterday. Hehe…it was
even recalled between the factory and delivery!

Yeah….thanks for enjoying this moment with me!
    Lisa, you were an inspiration!

  • What a day! I was just “on” all day long, and it was fabulous.
Rashid was saying so many good things about me, I was expecting him to
ask me for money. You’re a genius, you’ve got so many girls after you,
you’re doing so well, you’re making so much money, blah blah blah,
stuff I don’t really believe. My response to him was.

My life is more fairy tale than tail.

    And I’m fine with that.

  • Stop reading and start writing! If you’re not a Xanga member, you seriously should join
Xanga, have a username, and leave silly comments! You don’t have to
give out any personal info or post a picture or ever make an entry of
    your own.

    Seriously.

  • I cherish the misconceptions I once had about you.

Dicentra picture from my front yard. They’re one of the earliest bloomers of Wisconsin-hardy perennials.
  • I don’t like coffee. I’m not a coffee shop person.

But I’ve spent a lot of time in coffee shops! Kristen and I hit up Rochambeezy
on…..Friday? Then tonight, Chris, Matt, and I checked out Roast, Inc.
on Maryland with our buddy and tour guide Paul. Much, much cheaper
    here, but I decided mocha’s aren’t my style. I really shouldn’t consume
    any caffeine, though.

Oh, my chocolate milk intake has now reached a gallon a day! Hoy, Manuel me dijo que yo necesito una vaca.

    Taxes are done!

    Of course:

Hollyhock – these keep reseeding themselves along the garage after I planted them years ago.

    Ah, the memories…
